![]() ![]() With Necromantic Aura you can also build support units if you're attacking undead, and with the Ghoul Curse after the fight.Īs for spells Scourge of Undead which summons a load of undead to help you is good, and Stiffen Limbs is amazing against any though opponents (like manticores).Īs a tigran Warlord keep picking stats like first strike, overwhelm, charge, tireless, melle dmg, HP ect. They also have many on-attack debuffs that synergize well with inflict dispair increasing your damage (which is a must, since they start with an effective -4 melee damage penality, get -7 but get +1 cold/blight/holy) and increase chances to insta-kill units with invoke death Becoming undead also gives 100% blight/40% cold protection at the cost of 20% fire 40% holy weakness, which can be offset by items (or some skill points) rather easily Get some extra defense from lich (+1 and 20% holy protect) Can heal themselves with devour corpse. Life steal goes a long way and helps like crazy against melee attacks Necromancers on the hand hand I like because they can be build to be really tanky on their own. I think any non-leader hero with tons of summons is a good, since it helps to divert attention away from the hero (= Druid, Summoner, Necromancer), on the down side if it gets dispelled it's a bit of a problem.Īs for class I think necromancers at a high level with upgrades are my favoriate at this point. ![]() Half-ling can actually be somewhat stronger due to lucky if you can keep your happiness high In addition I think generally the best race for a hero trimmed for survival is dwarf or halfling.ĭwarf gets +1 physical/magical defense and 20% blight Tireless to survive melee without being useless the next turn. Flying to move quickly and get into good "camping" spots in sieges. ![]() Can be had with any hero though items though. Generally I think "Tireless" and "Flying"/"Floating" are both mandatory as well. ![]()
